Who is www.cherishedofotley.co.uk?

Cherished is a contemporary card and gift shop located on the outskirts of Leeds. This is our online shop selling a selection of items we sell in store.

How do I know the goods are in stock?

We try to make sure we only show items on the site if we currently have them in stock or are expecting fresh stocks shortly. If you place an order for something, which isn't available, we will contact you by phone or email, as soon as possible after you place your order. All orders are subject to availability.

How do I place an order?

Simply browse the site for something you fancy, and then start to shop by adding items into the shopping basket. When you're all done, click on the checkout button and you will be transferred to PayPal for payment. Purchases will be held in your shopping basket for 1 hour until you checkout. Any items not purchased within this timeframe will be returned to our shelves, to enable us to keep our stock levels as accurate and up to date as possible.

What are your delivery prices?

We have a flat rate delivery charge of £3.95 for all orders within the UK. Sorry, we are unable to dispatch items outside the UK.

How quick are your deliveries?

Wherever possible your goods will be dispatched within 2 working days from receipt of your order, via Royal Mail. All items are sent 1st Class recorded delivery. This is subject to the items being in stock and Royal Mail services. The postal service we use requires a signature upon receipt to ensure safe delivery at your chosen address. We recycle our packaging in our attempt to do our bit for the environment. So, your goods might arrive in a box that some of our amazing gifts have been sent to us in. But as our Mum's say it's not what's on the outside, its what's inside that counts!

How do I pay for my goods?

We've chosen PayPal as a safe, secure and efficient payment method. You as a consumer are protected through the PayPal process and can be assured that we, Cherished, do not hold any of your personal financial details. More details on PayPal are available at www.paypal.co.uk

What happens if I don't like the items that I receive?

We aim to portray all items honestly and accurately, both in the image and the text. However, if you are disappointed with any of the items in your order, or if they are not as you expected, you can return them within 7 days for a full refund. Please contact us before returning any goods.

If you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product or packaging. The product must not have been used and should be returned with the original box and packaging. Any free gifts received with the product must also be returned.

Postal charges are not refundable except where the goods are faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.

What is your Returns Policy?

Goods may be returned within 7 days of receipt. These goods must be in perfect resalable condition and unopened in their original packaging. Customers must ensure the goods are securely packed and are responsible for paying the relevant return postage costs. This does not affect your statutory rights.

What if my items are damaged?

Damaged, or faulty goods, must be reported within 48 hours of delivery date. In cases of goods received damaged or faulty please retain the product (together with any packaging) and contact us within 48 hours of receipt (commencing the day after delivery), whereupon we will arrange for the item to be exchanged or offer a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
