Cherished is a contemporary and innovative gift store located in the market town of Otley, within the outskirts of Leeds, in West Yorkshire. Cherished opened in March 2007 after Catherine left a proper job, to follow her dream of owning a card shop. Sounds a bit silly now, but after having one of those - if I don't do it now, I never will moments - Cherished is now firmly established as one of the specialist card and gift shops in the north of Leeds. We like to keep things personal and friendly so Catherine is in the shop full time, with her partner Shane, mum Margaret and dad Alan assisting too. We have built up a good reputation in our shop for customer service and having great gifts, so we now aim to do the same with our new e-commerce website.
We specialise in selecting gifts for all occasions, for all family members and friends. Something you would cherish (hence our name) and in turn, be excited to receive yourselves. Our brands are some of the most contemporary around, with our aim to provide gifts that are of the highest quality, affordable and beautifully packaged - something a bit different from the rest.
We are stockists of many leading contemporary gift and card companies including Jellycat, Culinary Concepts, Bath House, Sesame Street, The Gruffalo and jewellery by designers Carrie Elspeth, Enhance and Bedazzled. We're also having an 80's throwback moment, so stocking gifts from our favourite childhood TV programs including Morph, Danger Mouse, Hong Kong Phooey, Wonder Woman and the Mr Men.
